Amidst the current climate of immigrant stigmatization, the political platform of immigration reform and the threat to criminalize immigrants, their families, employers, landlords and associates, SPACES presents a look at the complexity of global immigration. Legal Aliens explores the techniques used to create and negotiate identity and the inherent paradox of simultaneously being at home and away that underwrites them.
