April 18–July 6, 2008
The Synergy Project, 2007 by Claudia Esslinger, audio by Brian Harnetty

This exhibition is a reflection of the national experience in contemporary art today.

For Living in Your Imagination, we reviewed all the artists who exhibited at SPACES during the past decade and selected one from each year to present new work. We also invited SPACES World Artist Jiří Černický, who represents our move into the future as an international force in alternative art. At its core, this exhibition addresses a persistent theme in contemporary art -- how artists mix personal and public identity as they respond to the places in which they exist.
