Projet Mobilivre/Bookmobile Project comes to Cleveland
You may remember the founders of Projet Mobilivre / Bookmobile Project from their slide show and zine-making workshop during Page Me, SPACES' recent exhibition of artist's books and zines. Projet Mobilivre / Bookmobile Project is an annually curated touring exhibition of artist-made books and independent publications that travels the United States and Canada in a vintage Airstream trailer, encouraging independent media and artistic production through workshops and informal dialogue. This year, they're bringing their mobile gallery to SPACES, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 21 - 22 from 11am to 8pm. SPACES will stay open until 8pm for these two nights only, so you'll get the chance to see both exhibitions for free! This will be the first time the Bookmobile has stopped in Cleveland.

Thurs, May 22, 7pm- 9pm:
Bookbinding Workshop for Beginners
Artists from Projet Mobilivre/Bookmobile Project lead a hands-on workshop of Japanese binding and other bookmaking techniques. Space is extremely limited, so be sure to pre-register soon.

Thu May 29, 5:30 - 8pm:
Red {an orchestra} Launch Party

You'll want to see red, when Cleveland's new orchestra launches its next season in style. Red {an orchestra} presents an evening of film, refreshments and great music to kick off its upcoming year. Hear what all the fuss is about at this free launch party on Thursday, May 29th from 5:30 - 8pm at SPACES.

Tue, Jun 17, 7pm:
A Lyric Evening of Art at SPACES
Join us at 7pm on June 17th for performances by the apprentice singers of Lyric Opera Cleveland followed by a gallery tour of the exhibition. This showcase of vocal and visual artists is free, but reservations are required. Call SPACES at 216-621-2314 to reserve your seat.
