Raised in Japan and Alaska, Rebecca Cross is a textile sculptor who lives in Oberlin, OH, where she received her Bachelor's degrees in English and Voice. She teaches Surface Design and Professional Practices at the School of Art at Kent State University, where she received her MFA in 2007. She has shown her work in many national and international juried exhibitions, at FAVA Gallery in Oberlin,the Canton Museum of Art, the Kent State Museum of Art, and the Morgan Paper Conservatory and Survival Kit Gallery in Cleveland. Upcoming exhibits will be at the Sculpture Gallery on June 7 and the Mansfield Museum of Art in November.
