Rosamond S. King
Rosamond S. King Ph.D. is a creative and critical writer and performer. She has engaged in guerrilla performance work around the world and her work has also been formally presented in the USA, the Caribbean, and West Africa. Her poetry has been published in over a dozen journals and anthologies. King lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, USA, when she's not living somewhere else.
She has received a Franklin Furnace Fund grant to create a major new work of performance art in New York City. In 2014, she premiered Sable International in Montreal as part of the Hemispheric Institute's Encuentro Festival of performance art from the Americas and also premiered Leave It Behind and Tiny Winey as part of Call & Response, a series of events organized by performance artist Gabrielle Civil.
