James Webb's residency at SPACES served as a form of reorientation and rejuvenation through personal studies and collaborative experience. It included focused wandering, disorientation, and chance amusement. The artist considered ways of looking and meaning making in conjunction with the voice and language. The resulting exhibition included five artworks acting as associative audio guides to his experience. These works collectively consider the vast reaches of religion, psychology, philosophy, and the body.
